Hi,

I'm using autocad for generate structural arrangement of bridge structure by refer to plan and profile exported from civil3d.

After export and working out in acad and try to organize the drawing by using annotation scale. After trying, this workflow cannot used. The text cannot annotate in ploting process to appriate scale.

Highly appreciate if recommend how can I solve this problem.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

WG

Hi WG,
More details please. A screen shot would help to explain. Posting your drawing would be even better.

Attached herin the Capture 1 is ACAD file exported from C3d. Illustrated in Capture 2, the text style is Roman without annotation. In Capture 3, I open the text style and identify of Roman as annotation and change font to TTF-Courier.

There's a couple of things going on here.

First you have the Text style coded into the text object (among other things), this will force the text to font used within the text no matter what change is made to the font style.

Second while you have the text style set to annotative, there is a conflict with this as your setting the height to 4.0 units.

To fix this you would first need to strip the font etc.. from the text objects. I use the Stripmtext.lsp for this. Once this is done you'll have more control over the text.

Also, I would recommend setting the unit of the style to 0 as this will remove the conflict between the true height in the drawing and what the style is saying.

Hi @off.wni

<<... text cannot annotative (No)...>>

Try making your TEXT STYLE annotative. Like this:
