Target not found and the section views looks wrong (too much cut and fill area)

I'm creating Section Views of my alignment, but it turns out that the cut/fill areas are too wide than what I intended to, so the ****ulative volume is too big. When I checked the error message, apparently it is "Target object not found" even though I have set the target with my existing contour surface. Please help me. Thank you beforehand.

Accepted solution

Hi @kiki-lie, It seems your corridor surface needs a boundary. Go to your corridor properties and select the boundaries tab. Then right-click on the first line and select corridor extents as the outer boundary.

That will create an automatic boundary for your surface that will fix the problem. If your corridor is too curvy and this automatic boundary does not solve the problem, you must create it manually. If so, try to follow the advice I posted in this thread.

I hope this helps. Best regards!

It doesn't work at first, but it finally works after I use polygon as the boundary. Thank you so much, you are a big help!
