Survey Data Import Freezing

Goal: 

• Import Survey Data and Manipulate points/rotate view.

Issue:

• After Import, any attempt to rotate view or edit data will either take waaaaay to long or freeze up all together.

Setup:

• Amount of data points: 57,000+
• Format: Space Delimited xyz 

Suspicion:

• Autocad Civil 3D is not meant to handle this many points?

I've attached the imported survey data. 

As of now my only "solution" is to remove every other point in excel, and repeat that like 5 or 6 times to reduce amount of points being imported. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Your data looks to be a point cloud, trying using Recap Pro and then import the resulting RCP file to create a surface from the data.
