Surface styling from data links

Hey guys,

 

I am curious to know if I can import a surface via datalink but still maintain the style from the source drawing?

 

The surface is to show a cut and fill with 15 different evelations with diff colour which id want to show so pls tell me if this is possible.

Can you please clarify what do you mean by data links? Is it DataShortcut?

 

When creating new surface, either from TIN, DEMs or DataShortcuts, default style can be predifined in TOOLSPACE -> Settings -> Surface -> Commands.Please see:

Surface style can be set by default, but it won't adjust accordingly to the style that is set up for surface source drawing.
