Surface from corridor : Not triangulating properly

Hi there,

I'm trying to generate a Top and Datum surface but i can't get the result i want.

Is it possible that if i try to choose a breakline in the assembly that is underneath a feature.

And both are used in my corridor surface definition, the bottom breakline will never be seen from the rebuild ?

Top and Datum should be different surfaces. It sounds like you might have added both link types to the same surface.

No no, it's only with the Datum surface.

My first layer of pave1 acts as an overlay on the existing and the widening portion i got a full structure with pave1, pave2, base and subase

I think the fact that there's 2 different "Z" values on the vertice of the links make them voided when triangulating.

I shouldve done a printscreen.

But my question is : 

Does 2 links or even features with the same X and Y values but with different Z values will triangulate properly ?

Lets say a vertical wall, no one can triangulate a vertical wall ?

I'm use to inroads and its impossible to do so.
So i'm thinking it may be the same logic.

Civil3d cannot TIN a vertical surface...unfortunately.
