Surface does not recognize feature lines

This would be the third separate time, on a third unrelated drawing, on a third different project and I'm questioning as to even if Civil3d should have surfaces as a feature.  I have a NOT COMPLICATED surface constructed of features lines, and the surface is not breaking for the feature lines as if they're not added to the surface definition.  If I attempt to add the "ghost" feature lines to the surface, Civil3d tells me they're already part of the surface definition even though the line isn't doing to the surface.  This is the exact problem I've had on three other drawings and has set one of our projects back a month.   One was more complicated than this, and the other was less complicated than this surface, and yet the problem is still happening.  Needless to say a surface that won't recognize feature lines that are part of it's definition wrong.

I understand, from your subtle clues, that you are frustrated.  😉     I laughed when I saw that one breakline set name. That there's funny.

If you remove all the breaklines from the surface, you are left with your edits. Select one of the feature lines, then right click and Add to Surface as Breaklines. In the surface definition list, the breaklines will be added after your edits and will not be ignored by the surface.

I guess it depends on your workflow, but I did not have a problem adding your feature lines to any surface.  As a side note, I did do as mentioned and cleared the breaklines before adding them.
