Surface created from polylines not showing contours

Hello good people, I've created a surface from polylines but unfortunately the contours are not showing even if I reduce the contours spacing, I assigned elevations to the polylines before creating the surface, also another issues when I spot elevations to the surface, it shows in inches and the settings is in foot, how can I get the surface to display contours and how can I also fix the spot elevations units to display in feet, I've attached the drawing plus the screenshot, thanks in advance for your responses

Hi Oliver,
Command UNITS shows "Architectural". And Properties shows your polylines with inch Z's.
Where is your original data? Where did you get the polylines?

I just drew the polylines randomly and assigned them various elevations in 2ft intervals, and wanted to create a surface and label the resulting contours , I didn't import the polylines, I just drew them randomly and assigned them elevations, is there a way to fix this issue and to get the spot elevations to show in feet as in the settings

Oliver,
"...is there a way to fix this issue and to get the spot elevations to show in feet..."
Only way I can think of is to manually change the elevations individually in Properties.

In that drawing, you can see each polyline has its elevations the way I assigned them, with the elevations ranging from 8439 feet to 8460 feet, being that they have elevations assigned to them, how again should I assign elevations manually to them

Oliver,
Command UNITS, change to "Decimal". Then change elevations, one by one. You'll need to re-create your surface.
