superimposing a offset profile to main alignment profile showing absurd data

I am superimposing the offset alignment profile onto the centerline alignment profile view. After the result, the offset alignment profile (magenta-colored line) behaves absurdly in the starting and ending portions of the alignment. My alignment is 35km long. Below is the superimposed profile picture, showing the offset profile behaviour(Megenta color line) in the starting portion

below is the surface profile of the offset alignment (

Can anyone help me understand why this might be happening and how I can correct it? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!"

A drawing file would help...

can't share the drawing file, due to the company policy but I can share more data as: -

my surface is a LIDAR surface and I have raised 1 more issue related to the same drawing as shown below

then I got the reply from ecfernandez which solved my problem to some extent.

but during superimposing it again showed the problem with the data reading in civil 3D as shown in the question image. Is it a bug,how can I fix my problem.

Hi,

If the offset alignment are with constant offset value and showing existing ground data, I suggest you to go with sample profile option in Create surface profile window.

Initially, I also attempted that approach, but it poses a significant problem as well. I've expressed my concerns regarding the issue in the preceding reply, accompanied by an image for clarity.

What I have found is that a lot of times, when you superimpose a profile, if there are areas where the station does not exist, Civil 3D doesnt know how to handle it.  For example, a hard corner, on the outside, there is a range where there is no station for the inner alignment.    What I have done in this situation is to create multiple superimposed profiles, editing the start or end station value accordingly, to get it to "skip" over that gap where stationing might not exist. Screenshot 2024-04-20 153738.png
