Subassembly error (unable to get the intersection point with surface target)

Hello,

I am having an error (Unable to get the intersection point with surface target) as shown below when creating the corridor from an assembly. This leads to unable to get the volumes.

Can anyone please help me to solve this problem?

I also attach the dwg. and the subassembly file.

Thank you,

Kien

Hi @kien_nguyenFVYJ8

Usually problems like you can see if you have applied slope to surface, and the applied slope can't "hit" your target surface. In this case you the the option to change the slope or to make you surface "wider" in area, to be able to be hit from your link.

Anyway, i will take a look to your attachments and i will let you know.

Thanks

Hi @kien_nguyenFVYJ8

I checked you subassembly and looks ok.

Then i tried to apply it in your corridor.

I found out that your dich, is always in higher elevation than EG surface. See the photo below.

The blue is you design (ditch) and the green is your existing ground.

The point P6 from your subassembly will never "hit" the surface.

Looks like you have problem with your design profile applied for your corridor.

You should check this.

I hope i helped
