Hello friends. I am creating assembly in subassembly composer and there is one issue which is not clear to me . I want the berm width to follow existing surface as shown in attached photo, can anyone give me some idea how to manage it

but how to attach on the point? there is only "start X" and "END X"

Hi @gogita.bolqvadze1 

1. Add the surface link and set Start X to the position of the point you want to anchor to using the API function "P#.X" (Example Start X= P2.X)

2. Assign the end position of X of the surface link (example fixed width: End X= Wberm+P2.X), if there is already another point that will be the end of the surface link then use end of X= P3.X

NOTE: The surface link will automatically create two new points (start and end) for example P5 and P6

3. To join the points P2 and P5, or P3 and P6 you must add a basic geometry link between those points, even if the distance between the points is zero
