Subassembly Composer (SAC) - React to Parameter Reference Override from Civil 3D

In SAC I have a link that uses a typical user Input parameter for its slope, then some decisions are made based on the slope value.

In the Civil 3D environment the slope parameter gets overriden in the Assembly using a Parameter Reference.

Is there anyway in SAC to read that overriden slope value (downstream in SAC after the original slope value from the Input parameter was used)?

If the link that is being modified is L1 and then in further definition in the pkt you reference L1.slope that should use the overridden L1 slope.

I tried that with AL1 that first uses a Grade Type Parameter I called DefaultSlope entered by the User, then used a Decision with the argument AL1.slope = DefaultSlope and it didn't work for me.

I'll try a regular link.

Thanks

Hi @fcernst,

You could define a variable and assign the value to be replaced before making the change and call it later where you need it.
