How do you model open channels in SSA?  I don't understand how to connect flow from subbasins into the open channel without using Junctions or flow diversions, which do not seem to properly model my network.  The flows that reach my outfall are not where they should be in magnitude.  There are also two culverts in my system.  Thank you.

To my knowledge, you must include junctions along your open channel in order to add a contributing sub basin to the channel.  I will typically place numerous junctions along my channel for the sole purpose of connecting a sub basin.

Thanks Wesley.  I ended up using flow diversions, linked to only one output, as my junctions to convey runoff from subbasins and link open channels.  It worked very well, and the results were in very close proximity to a rational spreadsheet we used as a back check.
