Staking alignments using surface as reference

Hey all,

I have a series of over 200 short alignments for services that I need to stake. Does anyone know if I can import the finish grade surface from AutoCAD to my TSC3 data collector, and have the alignments read the finished grade, rather than having to manually enter vertical data for each one of the alignments?

Most likely if your TSC3 will accept and XML file you can import the surface that way. It's most likely the preferred method.
