SSM Sheet List Table Questions

I am trying to get the Sheet list table to work the way we usually do things here and I have a couple of questions.

#1 How do I get rid of the Dang text highlight (Makes it hard to read)

#2 Is the any way to get the sheet numbers to group.? Example:  12-18  Removal Plans

I initially thought that creating subsets would allow me to group the sheets unless I am doing it wrong. If I cant group the sheet table as shown in the example then the sheet table list is worthless to me.

#1: fielddisplay, set it to 0 to turn off the field highlight.

#2: create subset in the sheet set manager for each category (e.g. removal plan, grading plan...). then add the sheets to the subsets.

By "Dang text highlight", do you mean the grey background around lines of text in your sheet list table? Set FIELDDISPLAY to 0.

Yes, you can "group" sheets by dragging and dropping them into your subsets. They won't automatically re-number; you have to use the Rename & Renumber function. Right click a sheet in the Sheet Set Manager, you'll see the option.

If you want to have your sheet list look like these images, create a dummy sheet (either its on file or as a layout in another file) and name it for the group name and assign the appropriate numbers (manually of course ;/). Set that sheet to not print and include it in your sheet list. Set all the sheets in that group to plot, but exclude them from the sheet list.

No way to template this so it is automatic. What you can do is use you old text block> Say ssmsht# is the number you want. edit the text right click>> insert field>> Sheet Set>> sheet set, expand the list in the sheet navigation tree. pick the start and end sheet. see screen shot. in my example I would pick 15 for the start sheet and 37 for the to sheet. It is all manual but the data is there for you to use
