Split Profile Styling

I am having an issue with the style of my split profile view. When I make my typical profiles the elevations show up on the outside of the profile with a border around them. When I go to split my profiles the elevations then move to the inside of the profiles with no border.

I am aware on how to move the elevations to the outside of the profiles but I do not know how to create the border around them. I also know that I can just copy and adjust my profiles and delete the original but I am certain there has got to be a way around creating my profiles multiple times and deleting. I have attached screenshots showing exactly what I am talking about. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Hi Sarah, I know I'm late in replying, but would you be able to post a drawing with both of the profile styles (split and normal) included?  I have an idea of what it could be, but would like to take a look before recommending a solution.

Thanks,

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for reaching out to the forum. It would be helpful if you could share the drawing Vincent referenced in his post.
