Anyone know what the spanner icon mean in the attached screenshot?

The small arrow means it's a data shortcut. The folder with the wrench is just that, a folder.

So the wrench is nothing to worry about? I haven't used folder in Prospector for many years.

Correct. I don't use them either. They tend to create more problems than they are worth.
