Solar PV site grading - Slopes less than 5%

Hello!

Anyone knows and could share how to develop a grading plan for a big solar PV site that has around 560 ha? I want work with the terrain contours as much as possible and do minimal earthworks to adequate the surface to slopes less than 5%. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I would think that a corridor would be your best bet.  At least get a quick idea of the site.  (Assuming you have a good existing surface.)

Thanks for the answer, but actually I didn't understand what you're suggesting.
Could you explain a bit more?

We need more information about the site.  Perhaps a contour map, etc.  OR a dwg.

For sure!

This is the DTM of the site.

If you run a slope analysis, you'll see that most of it has slopes under 5%.

I've been trying to run gradings with feature lines, but the resulting surfaces are somewhat confusing and, in most cases, don't satisfy my criterium of slopes with less than 5%.

Thanks!
