SiteComp compatibility issue

I am having an issue with a SiteComp Civil/Survey file that has been converted to a .dwg file.  I am trying to use it as an xref in our design file and I am able to overlay and work in the drawings just fine but I when I try to plot I get the following message: "Error handler re-entered.  Exiting now." and CAD crashes.  I have tried all of the recommended file cleanup procedures for corrupt files from Autodesk help but nothing seems to work.  I even had the surveyor provide another file that supposedly was created with a newer version of SiteComp compatible with AutoCAD.  Any insight would be appreciated.  I have attached the problem file.

Thanks,

Alex

Have you tried saving it out as a dxf? And then reopen and save the dxf as a drawing?

No I have not, but I opened as a dxf and tried to plot, that still did not work. I will try saving as dxf.

Thanks,

I saved as a dxf and then saved back to a dwg file and no luck.

Have you removed that XREF and tried to plot? Does it crash then?

Yes. I have a fresh file from the surveyor that has been saved in the newer version of SiteComp to AutoCAD that is supposed to solve the compatibility issue, but it's not working still. I have tried plotting from model space and paper space.

I noticed when opening the file, I received an error regarding NLS files.  Does this solution resolve the crash?

Eureka!  The font issue seems to be the problem.  I was unable to see if there was a language issue but when I typed the Style command and changed all of the weird fonts that stopped the crashing issue on print.  Interestingly, the font that was predominant in the file was "Hersh".  I could not find this font for Windows anywhere on the internet.

Thanks for your help!

I'm glad that fixed it.
