Simple Folders in Data Shortcut

Hello, everyone! I'm in trouble when creating Data Shortcuts.

Once I build Alignments and Corridors in my source file, I organized them in folders to facilitate my navigation. Then, with the address set in Data Shortcuts Working Folder and the right folder set in Project Folder, I associate the project to the current drawing and create the data shortcut. But there's the problem: when I finish creating the data shortcut, the alignments and corridors don't come inside their folders. Also, when I create these folders in Data Shortcuts tree and drang and drop the corridors and alignments, when I open another drawing, these folders simple disappear.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

You should be getting the folders when creating a reference. Not sure why you don't. What version are you using. Works for me on 2020. Do you have all of your updates applied/installed for AutoCAD, Map and Civil 3D?

The Datashortcuts on the toolspasce don't always refresh content when working with multiple files open in a single session or if multiple sessions are running. In Toolspace right click on the Datashortcuts and use the Refresh option. Sometime this helps without needing to restart C3D.

@jmayo-EE Even refreshing, it didn't work. And yes, my version is 2020, updated.

Did you close all sessions and files and try again?

Are you sure you have read/write permissions to this folder?

Have you tried this on another PC?

Have you tried with a different C3D project and files?
