SignCAD or GuideSign Program that will run in C3D?

I was wondering if Autodesk offers or has a third party who offers a program that will create and place road signs including the large guide signs.

For background, the two programs that I listed allows the user to create road signs per regulation into design files.

SignCAD was purchased by Bentley Systems.

If there are other options, I am open to hear about them.

Transoft Solutions (makers of Autoturn) makes GuideSign, I have used it in the past but it was so long ago.  It works pretty well.

I'm not aware of a comparable Autodesk Product.

We have Guidesign for AutoCAD and Microstation at the moment. Since SignCAD has been purchased by Bentley and incorporated into their OpenRoads Suite, I doubt that it will run in a C3D environment.

I am looking for options to where we do not have to pay for a Guidesign license if Autodesk and Bentley offer their own software.

Wish I had an answer for that, better support for signage would be a good addition to Civil 3d.

Within the FDOT state kit is a Signage program, that the department recommends over Bentley and there a Bentley house. Along with pavement marking tools.

Thanks Rick for the suggestion but FDOT sets up their gear to work with their own numbers. Although back engineering their program so it will work on its own, the additional data (bid item numbers, etc) attached to the signs would be troublesome for us.

I think the better option is for Autodesk to purchase Transoft and incorporate their programing into C3D. Of course, I would only ask for a minimal fee of say....3% of purchase price. Call it a 'finder's fee'.

This is from memory znd i do 'ot have timevto research it:

I think one if the country kits has signage capabibities. Possibly Germany?

This sort of thing has been known to migrate to Civil 3D itself. I don't recall hearing any rumors.

The German country kit has signage and striping capabilities.  If you look at the Civil 3D public Roadmap, it is on their "in progress" list to bring it to other regions via the software.

Turns out better support for roadway signs and markings has been added to the product roadmap - vote if it is important to you.

If you have the AEC Collection. Infraworks does signs. I don't have any experience with them though.

I have Vehicle Tracking in my ribbon and have checked my CUI options to make sure everything was turned on but I am missing Road Markings and Traffic Signs in the ribbon. Are there different options available through Vehicle Tracking? Or maybe it is not available anymore?
