Sheet Set Prints Different From Layout Printing

Can anyone help? I print a sheet through Sheet Set Manager using the same Page Setup as an individual Layout Page Setup but get different results, both are pdfs. For one, when printing through Sheetset the final pdf file size is much smaller: Sheetset print size 744KB, Layout print size 2779KB. Second, Wipeouts print blank with Sheetset and print as should be with Layout printing. And third, The sheetset print comes out crisper/sharper while the Layout print is more pixelated. This all started when we updated to 2021.

I do not think the AutoCAD PDF drivers are the same. as before.

Make sure that you are using page setupp override in SSM. Specify a page setup override drawing file. I think  SSM defaults to DWG TO PDF.pc3 or something.

Thank you for your input. I would like to stay with SSM settings since they produce a sharper print, they are faster for bulk printing and it creates much smaller file sizes. The only problem I am having with using SSM for printing is the Wipeouts are printing black. Is there anyway I can get the Wipeouts to print correctly?

I know this is a problem, possibly tied to the pdf print driver. I no longer use wipeouts, but use a solid hatch colored 255. sometimes I have problems with hatch in blocks reverting to bylayer color instead of 255, so i created a layer just for the hatch and set the color to 255. i don't have problems anymore.
