Sheet Set Not updating Prior to Printing

Does anyone know why a Sheet Set would not be updating drawings prior to printing if those same drawings have been saved?

Not updating Sheets when xref drawings have been modified? Are you saying people are working on a drawing, they have saved but remained open, and now someone else wants to get that change when they plot the sheets? Are the sheet drawings being opened from a closed state during Publish? That should load the xref afresh. What is your setting of XLOADCTL? Does it work at 0 and/or 1?
