Sheet Set Error using pagesetup override

I normally have my page setup and use publish to pdf with PUBLISHCOLLATE set to 1 this works fine.

However, Sometimes I want to publish using pagesetup override. This is when I don't want to use the default pagesetup for the layout. (Mainly when I want to make a pdf that uses a color pen file rather than a black and white pen file.) I may wan't to go back and forth between color and black and white.

The problem is:

If I have PUBLISHCOLLATE set to 0 and right click and select publish using page setup override I get individual pdfs as expected.

If I have PUBLISHCOLLATE set to 1 and right click and select publish using page setup override I get an error and no pdf is made.

I am using the same print driver in all situations DWG to PDF.pc3.

I have audited the used drawings and template from where the pagesetup is from.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks, John

Hi @Anonymous,

Does this happen in core AutoCAD or just Civil 3D?  Have you checked to make sure that your application is fully up to date and hotfixes applied?

I would be curious to see if there is something in the page setup override that might be causing this. Can you try to build one from scratch and put it in your process to see if it still misbehaves?

I tried Civil 3D as AutoCad and get the same results. I have tried to remake the pagesetup and pc3 file and get the same results.

-Thanks

HI @Anonymous,

Is it possible to eTransmit a sample sheetset that includes fonts, plot styles, etc. so I can try this on my side? The oldest version I have installed is 2016 but I can hunt around for the older version.

Can you try a Trial version of current product to see if a SAMPLE (don't use a real project) sheetset still has the problem in AutoCAD 2018?
