Setup.exe file starts but not completes it

How can I install my civil 3d with trial. I've downloaded the file and extracted it but it does not install. When I run It as a administrator the setup.exe file it stops .

At this point, something fails.  (obviously)

If you had support, Autodesk Support could provide a tool to fetch the files needed to diagnose the problem.

As it's a trial,  browse to the %TEMP% folder and look for the installation logs. As the Civil 3D trial is likely a streaming install - the executable will download the rest of the files as it installs. If that fails to launch, check your system against the requirements.
