Set styles to layer 0

Is there a way to set multiple label styles to layer 0 (inside the style)? I use layer translate to convert civil 3d survey drawings I receive form other offices to my layer naming system.  The layers that are within styles do not always convert.  I would like to keep the drawing as civil 3d and not convert it so that the labels are easier to move and change scale if needed.

It would be helpful, if I could globally change layers within label styles to zero.

Is there a way to change styles to layer zero within the styles?

Thank you,

JL

Hi @Anonymous   Use the EDITLABELSTYLEDEFAULTS command and expand the Label category and then change the Layer to 0. If there is an arrow pointing down in the Child Override column click on it and a red x will appear. Then hit the apply button.

That worked great!

I'm looking in the settings tab under structure styles and it doesn't look like there is a default setting for layer.

-Thanks

I don't know of a way to change the component layers in structure styles globally. I think you have to change each style individually.
