Section Viewer not aligned with corridor sections Civil 3D 2017

I'm using Civil 3D 2017 and I've been having some difficulty with the corridor section editor. On vertecies (and select other places I haven't yet found a pattern to), the section viewer will not align with the corridor section, and I will not be able to make any edits to the section in that location. In the attached screen shots, you'll see that the slider seems to shoot out into oblivion. This happens with both feature lines and alignments.

I'd rather not have to split a corridor into a bunch of tiny regions if I don't have to, but its looking like that's where i might be at now. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Forums!

Can't test now but could it be in happening areas which used to cause "bowties" in versions prior to 2017?

Or does this also occur on tangents and large radius curves?

This would appear to be the issue. the section editor works fine on curves and tangents unless it is at a section that overlaps another. That's unfortunate.
