Section View Template

Hello, I am looking for some help with creating section views in a template. The template is 1:1000 11x17 template I created myself by modifying the existing Civil section template.

The issue is that my template should be large enough for a 3x3 grid of cross section, but only 4 will plot within the template. No matter how I adjust the group plot style, or what dimensions I use for the array, only 4 cross sections will show up in the template

Is there a way to specify exactly how cross sections plot within a template? Where they plot, and how many in each page?  Or is there some way to change the section view settings so that they don't have such a large buffer around them?

Hi @nathanPYKE3, you can get it better organized but I think what you asked for about telling the software how many section views to place within every sheet is not possible. Mind the measurements of your style because these measurements are all real and are paper-space-related. Depending on the scale in which this drawing will be plotted you can get the right measurements for your template (Second screenshot). Once you set all these options you can be sure they'll look better and hopefully will be arranged closely to what you want.

Finally, make sure the scale is ok 

and try to draw the sections with the same width and height so you make it easy for the software to arrange all the section views.

For horizontal, try setting the spacing between views to 0 and turning on the drafting buffer.

For vertical try adjusting the band position or eliminating it entirely if you aren't using it.
