Section view label style Editing

Hello, 
I am trying to edit the section view label style in civil 3d but when i go to settings there is no "expressions" under the section label style. 

I am trying to subtract -1' from the elevation. Does anyone know how to do it directly in the text component editor ? please see attached.

The expression needs to be created in the settings tab of the prospector before it will show in the Label Style Editor.

I am aware, that i need to create an expression. However, there is no expression option in the settings for the section view labels.

What version? They show in 2017 (and I think 2015). Since you know where they should be (under each label type) you may need a install repair if they don't show up.

I have the same view, but under section view styles i dont have an "expression". if you expand it do you see
"expression"?

Dear Friend,

Can't you lower the surface on which section view label are related (or by creating a duplicate surface) by 1'. Then the labels will automatically shows what you need. However I don't know what is your exact need for lowering elevation and what extent this will help you.

Peek at it again, section view labels are expanded and do show expressions. View styles them selves have no label expressions.

Section view labels have expressions. However, if i create an expression here it will not show-up when i try to edit the "section view style" left or right vertical line text.
