Search by polyline attribute

Hello,

I'm trying to locate certain polylines in a drawing.  Each polyline has a set of attributes.  Is there a way i can search the drawing if I know one of these attributes?  This is Autodesk Civil 3D 2020

thank you

Look into the Filter command. It has a few more options than the QSelect. Command.

You need the MapAnno* commands. I will need to get to the office tomorrow and see if you can search them . I don't think you can.

Hi @rollajedi

AutoCAD Map 3D (i.e. the Planning and Analysis Civil 3D Workspace) does have a Filter and Search feature that will work if you create an FDO Connection to the GIS Assets.

However, your drawing contains a MAPImport of the GIS assets with a Map 3D Object Data Table containing the associated attributes, so we can create a Drawing Query to isolate and visualize the objects. I've created a quick video to demonstrate the workflow.

Hope this helps,
