Saving using ArcGIS to AutoCAD

I am using the ArcGIS to AutoCAD plugin, I upload items from my ArcGIS feature set, is there a way to save it with the features staying there? Currently I loose it all when I save and go back to it. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

After trying various methods, I realized that when I export it as a DWG, I needed to select "Detach",  and presto.
