SAC 2024/25/26 UI Issues.

My SAC's UI doesn't show some features, especially in the toolbox window.
Eg. the "Text"/"Display Text" does not show
In the Input/Output parameters window, selecting double/integer does not give a min/max option.

Is there a fix for this?

Yes, there is a fix, and this is not the expected behavior of Subassembly Composer (SAC).

The symptoms you describe:

• "Text" / "Display Text" missing from the Toolbox
• No Min/Max fields for Double or Integer parameters

usually indicate one of these issues:

1. SAC version mismatch (most common)

Make sure that your Subassembly Composer version exactly matches your Civil 3D version and update level.

For example:

• Civil 3D 2026.1 → SAC 2026.1
• Civil 3D 2025.2 → SAC 2025.2

Autodesk has documented several SAC issues caused by version mismatches after updates or reinstalls.

Check your versions:

• In SAC: Help → About
• In Civil 3D: About → Product Information

If they don't match, reinstall SAC from the same Civil 3D installation media/update.
