Dear Friend, You need to design a corridor first, and then generate sample lines for the alignment you used as your corridor baseline. Then you want to create a section for the samole line(s). Here's the procedure:

--create an alignment

--pull a surface profile sampling your EG surface

--design a profile based on your sampled EG surface in the profile view( skip this if you have your proposed surface)

--create an assembly for your road section using subasembly( Ctrl+3) tools

--create your corridor using your alignment, your PROPOSED profile/surface, and your assembly

Then sample your corridor, EG surface, and proposed surface using " Sample Line" tools, at a desired station along your alignment. Now simply select the sample line, and select "Create Section" from the ribbon. Click yes on the prompts, and click on an empty space to put your section.

Hope it helps somehow.

Thanks for your response. Yes i draw sections with out road Assembly using finished ground surface. in this method, can i include other surface like Existing Ground levels Surface in the section view. so that i can compare cut & fill.

Please advise.
