Request for Assistance – Need .PKT File Based on Attached Barrier CAD Drawing (Civil 3D 2026)

Dear All,
I am currently using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026 and am new to Subassembly Composer (SAC). I am trying to create a custom barrier subassembly but am still learning how to properly define the parameters and logic flow.

I have attached a CAD drawing that shows the barrier dimensions and geometry I want to replicate in SAC.
Could someone please assist me by providing a .PKT file for this time-sensitive project, then guide me through the correct process to model it based on the attached drawing?

Having a working .PKT file example would be a great help for me to understand how to structure points, links, shapes, and parameter controls correctly in Civil 3D 2026.

I would greatly appreciate your support and guidance.

If you're in a hurry. You might want to convert your linework to a polyline and use Create Subassembly from Polyline.

Could you please create a subassembly from a polyline?

Hi guys! @AllenJessup suggestion is a great way to solve your problem.

If you have more time in the future and you want to explore how custom subassemblies are created, go to this directory in your computer:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\C3D 2025\enu\Subassemblies\Metric

There you'll find plenty of examples to analyze and learn from them.

I hope this helps. Best regards,
