Rendering a driveway structural sections

Hello,

Here is what I am try to accomplish. From the 2 png files showing my driveway and my corridor code set styles I want to render my driveway.

Here is what I did:

  1. In my corridor code set style and right click on the word link and add a new link called Pave1.
  2. I next in the command line typed matr which gave me a list of all types of render material. I choose one with a color just as example and dragged the material in the upper left corner.
  3. I next went back to my corridor code set style and clicked on the x in the render material column where the Pave1 was created and choose my material that I choose in step 2.
  4. I next click apply and ok and nothing happens.

I have created other rendering material and I was able to view it in my corridor drawing but driveway structural section no luck.

I am not allowed to post any files to the forum.

If anyone can create for me a screen cast that would be helpful.

Thanks

1. Render in which view direction?

Direction of rendering has nothing to do with it

2 Is it applied.

No

I must be misunderstanding what your issue is. View direction has everything to do with what is rendered to my knowledge. If rendering is wished in view x and all the code set render material is set to view y the view x will never render
