Renaming an entire Pipe Network?

Hey everyone,
I have a total of 9 pipe networks for the drainage system of a new airport. We're now working towards the 100% delivery, so I want to smoothen things out. I want to rename an entire pipe network in one go.
When I read the description of the command "RENAMEPIPENETWORKPARTS" (quote: "If you want to rename many parts within a pipe network, use the Rename Parts command. This command lets you rename one, all, or a sequence of connected parts within a pipe network.") it suggests that you can rename ALL parts in one go. When I try the command however, it only lets me select a starting part and an end part, and it renames everything in between. Doing this for the entire network is going to take a long time, because each network is approximately 2,5km x 1km.
Is there a way to select everything in the network, and rename everything conform my wishes? Or am I pretty screwed here and do I have to do it all manually?
