Removing tic marks

Hi all!

I'm having trouble trying to remove these tick marks from the contour labels. How do you remove these?

That is the Contour Label Line which can be turned off for each label group:

or you can prevent them from displaying when the labels are created in the Surface Feature settings bt setting this to False:
