Question about 3 years student licence

Hello Team ,

Iam posting this question on the behalf of my wife.

She use to be engineering student and finished her BE in Civil Engineering back in 2010.

She also did Auto cad 2006 training  from one of your associate partners.

She is very much interested to learn and certified in Autocad Civil 3D and currently looking for a distance learning college or any ogarnization which help her make her ready for Auto desk official exam.

I would like to you is she currently eligible to download the free 3 years AutoCAD Civil 3D for learning purpose ?

is there any charges ?

Looking forward for your response.

best regards

read this: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/topics/account-management/account-access/education-community-account/w...

autodesks definition of a student: Student - An individual person enrolled as a student at an educational institution which has been accredited by an authorized governmental agency within its applicable local, state, provincial, federal, or national government and has the primary purpose of teaching its enrolled students.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the Autodesk Community!

In order to be eligible to download and activate 3-year licenses of Autodesk student software your wife would need to already be enrolled in an educational institution.

For more information on eligibility, please visit our Virtual Agent, click on "I am a Student/Mentor", click on "Eligibility" and select the appropriate section from the left menu.

I hope this helps answer your question.

Hello Camilo Lemos,

Thanks very much for the prompt reply . we were searching for online courses and found some colleges are offering distance learning course training (Autocad Civil 3D)  for Example UK Learning College.

If my wife enrol for this training will she eligible to download the free trial for 3 years ?

What specific accredation required for any UK based institution ?

Many thanks

just create an account for your wife and see if you get approved or not

Hello DArren,

She is not currently a student , but she has completed BE in civil in 2010 from a recognised university.

I  think Autocad approve onlu pupils who are currently in education  which i think mentioned in your previous link if i understanding it correctly .

can she still use her old university name to create an account ?

Many thanks

Shahid

No. She would have to be currently enrolled. I would think to do distance learning there would have to be access to the program. I'd suggest contacting the institution(s) that offer the courses to see how they handle that. They may be able to confirm that once enrolled she would qualify for a student license.
