Quantity takeoff with stripping top soil

Good morning,

however my native language isn't English i'll try my best to explain the situation...

I'm experiencing with quantity takeoff.

This is the case, I wan't my sectionview to be as perfect as it can be for publishing to our clients without manual edit the sections.

Of course with my section that complete I also want to know the quantities.

So the be more clearly I made a short screen record of my problem.

Hope someone can explain what I'm doing wrong.

The Youtube video appears to be mirrored when I look at it, and the image quality isn't very good.  Try to describe what you're trying to achieve, and the problem so that we have some context when we look at the video.

thnx for the reply.

Í already fixid it! i forgot to ad the surface to the section. After i did that i could select the surfaces.

So (that) problem is solved!
