Hi @ansarimdnazir ,

Pkt is meant to be saved in a secured server and IT can provide user access to be read and write for Civil 3d admin and read only for team members. No direct way to stop people from editing it so best is to save a back up copy somewhere that you can get anytime you need. If you want extra security you can select the file and make it as read only.

I normally only share my imported tools and xtp to team members so that we are all sync. Then I can hide the pkt to avoid editing. Of course people can be smart to convert all the imported tools back to PKT but that is another story.

Try to watch my Au Class in 2017, I gave tips on how to share customised assembly to team members. Click my profile and find my AU class.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Jowenn

Just adjust the permissions on the pkt file to read-only for everyone except for the editor (probably you). Most likely you will have to ask IT to do this.

If you would rather not get IT involved you could keep a zipped copy... password protect the zip.

Hi Jowenn,
Thanks for helping me in this regard. its really appreciated.
I have also gone through your AU 2017 Class lecture and found very helpful
information in Multi link Sub assembly. I haven't understood the method in
Layout Ratio which you have added as an input parameter and it allows you
to switch between 2D and 3D view as corridor.
Can you please help me in formula and how it is working. it will be quite
useful for me if you can share some PKT file for the same so that I can
Understand fully.

Thanks & Regards
Md Nazir
