Profile views - Create 1 then move the viewports around or just make a bunch of profiles?

I set up my project to use a single profile view on a pipe run, then adjusted the viewports on the sheets to create multiple plan profiles. However, the junior drafter working with me says she can't open the drawing. After checking her system, I found that she doesn't have a dedicated graphics card—just 128MB of VRAM, which is causing the issue. To work around this, I started creating multiple profiles, but I'm realizing that this approach is far less efficient than using a single profile.

Does anyone else use just one profile view and viewports for elevs and stations? If so, what kind of gains have you noticed from it?

I create one master profile to do the design work in and multiple ones to show in individual viewports. That way they all have Datum and the vertical elevations. This drawing is Xrefed into a drawing to create the viewports and plot from.

I also have profiles of all intersecting streets and driveways. My current road project has 40± driveways. We all have high end NVidia cards.

We do the same as @AllenJessup: one design profile and multiple profiles for plan sheets.

You might want to look into sheet creation tools which can do a lot of the plan/profile sheet setup for you once you have and alignment and profile.
