Profile vertical curve using -1 for minimum k value.

One of my designers is working on a road design and something happened to his profile. When you look at the grid view, it shows that the miminum K value for all of the vertical curves is -1. We are using AASHTO 2018 US Customary eMax 4% with a design speed of 40 mph. I've tried changing the design speed, switching to eMax 6%, etc. to no effect.

I've run audit and recover on the file and no errors are found. I've run -purge and purger regapps. Nothing seems to change the k value.

Any ideas?

Hi @johnbarrus, I have experienced the same issue, and the only solution I have found is first, to make sure both the alignment and the layout profile are using the same standards (AASHTO 2011, 2018...). Then, check the curves in the grid view to see if that solved the problem and if not, erase each vertical curve, and create them again one by one after making sure I have the right standards. That ensures the right value appears in the grid view window when checking the minimum K requirements for each vertical curve again.

I hope this helps, best regards!
