Profile of stream

I have contour data and I can draw the existing creek in as a polyline. How do I generate a cross section of the creek showing existing grade lines? I need to modify the creek but right now I just want to be able to generate a cross-section of what is out there currently.

You need to create a civil 3D surface,  create an alignment from your creek polyline and then create sample lines and section views.  CLICK HERE for video.
