Profile horizontal grid lines outside of profile boarder

ok, love all the silly settings for 3D, 

so how do i get 2014 civil 3d to keep the horizontal grid lines INSIDE the profile boarder?

i have attached two images, one is the problem and the second is what i want ALL of my profile grids to look like.

and it should not matter what i have for the beginning and ending stations for a profile.

Someone else posted this same issue recently. They reported back that closing C3D and restarting fixed the display issue.

how i wish it was that simple, like LDD

the solution was (as usual for Civil 3D) "IT IS ALL ABOUT STYLES"

and i really hate that phrase

solution : copy the profile view style and edit the dumb thing over and over till you get something that works.

under the Grid tab for the new style

check Clip horizontal grid (and NOT the two sub options) 

select apply and then change the problem profile style and see what happens

and yes i am very serious when i say

sorry Autodesk you jumped the shark, when you made a zillion styles and very little of it user friendly.
