Problem Printing: Items Missing in final paper print

I have sometimes having a problem when printing large jobs (usually 24"x36" jobs with TOPOS).

On the left you can see a "PRINT PREVIEW" of what I am printing to the printer.  But once it prints to the printer I am getting the right.  Notice that the bottom bottom line items are missing!!!  They are NOT turned off or frozen or no-print.  Because if they were they wouldn't show up in the Print Preview, and because they are the same layer as the line items above.  If I print to a PDF they DO show.  And it's not all the time.  I don't think anything else is missing but I'm not completely sure, because I haven't given a print a complete review.

What could be the problem?  Is it the PRINTER DRIVER? Or ACAD?

I would normally say this the layer set to not plot. However, you see the text in the plot preview. So that would lead me to believe that the missing text is on a layer or has a specific color assigned to the text who's color does not plot based on the pen table. Any chance you could post the file?

Thanks

The drawing file?

This text is the same as the layer of the line above that IS printing ("LS
#..." "TAX SHEET NO." is the same layer/color as "SHEET 1 OF 1.")

But it doesn't do it on every drawing. Only if the drawing gets complicated
(usually with topo). Attached is another drawing on the same size sheet
(24"x36") that does not have topo or too much line work. I think it's too
much for the printer to handle???

We have an HP Designjet T610 44"

Checking your printer specs, you may be on to something there. It may be running out of memory. In that case, you can make your more powerful computer process the plot file instead of the plotter. Here's a link to do that:

Plotter out of memory or only partial drawing is plotted

let me know if this helps...

Thanks

I now know it is NOT the printer.  We got a new printer and it printed the same way on BOTH printers.

What happens if you print to pdf first, then send that to the plotter?
