problem in creating best fit profile

Good evening 

i am trying to create best fit profile for NG Profile
the problem is that the best fit function is not showing any results with empty report like this (image attached)
how can i solve this

Are there holes in the surface? Do you get any error messages? Have you checked Event Viewer?

Does it work using a different original ground surface?
