Problem creating new view port for Curve Table

I am trying to create a secondary view port to display curve table on plan and profile sheet.  When I create the new viewport the text within it is very large and overwriting everything else.  I know I've done something wrong but I haven't been able to figure it out!  Any help appreciated!

Set the scale for the VP then regen the VP.

That fixes the rest of the text, but now the curve table is changing size?
