Prevent Assembly Insertion at Beginning of Corridor Region

I have a corridor that is split into multiple regions.

I want to be able to say that Region 1 is from Sta 10+00 to 11+00, and that Region 2 is from 11+00 to 12+00. The issue that I have is that the corridor is inserting both assemblies for Region 1 and Region 2 at Sta 11+00. This messes up the cross-section because the feature lines try to instantly change location instead of transitioning from one insertion to the next.

I can jerry-rig things by setting my station range for Region 2 as Sta 11+10 thru 12+00 (I'm using a 10' frequency), but I don't like this because it creates maintenance if the frequency is changed.

Am I missing something basic? Is there a good way to prevent Region 2 from inserting the assembly at Sta 11+00?

I'm stuck using C3D 2022, so I don't have access to the new corridor transition features that came out in 2023.2.
