Pressure pipes not following the profile after placing a fitting

Does anybody know why when adding a 90° elbow to two pipes changes the elevation of the pipes and "detaches" it from the profile line. Ideally the elbow would be rolled at a 45°. Is there a workaround to this? or to somehow rotate the elbows manually while using a path based pressure network?

Hi @vmanzanares_, when you mention that the pressure part "detaches" from the profile does that mean that you are using Pressure Pipe Runs?  I ask because if you are using Pipe runs, you should be able to just add a PI to your Pipe Run alignment and it should add the bend automatically.  How was the pressure network created?  Part based or Path based?

When I'm working with Pipe runs, if I don't add vertical bends to my profile the horizontal bends typically will roll themselves to fit the pipe run profile.

After doing a small project using the new pipe run system I can confidently state that Autodesk has dropped the ball and the pressure pipe run system is not ready for real production use. I highly recommend abandoning the pipe run and going back to the parts based usage for the pressure network.

If you really want to keep using it, I found that if you remove the PI of that alignment, make sure you have a 90 bend in the catalog of the same size, then add the PI back it should place the 90 bend properly. But this doesn't always work. Adding a part to a pipe run after initial creation is a hit or miss, which is why I suggest removing the PI and replacing it to try and force it to recreate the bend.
