Pressure Pipe lables in split profile not displaying

My pipe labels in split profile are not displaying in 2018. Pipe labels works if the profile isn't split. All fitting labels work. It is just the pipes. Version Civil 3D 2018.2 update.

This has been a problem since 2017 at least. If anyone has a solution, that would be excellent.

After creating Split Profile views, right-click on a profile view and go to Profile View Properties. Uncheck Split profile view in the Elevations tab and click Ok. You can now label the pressure pipes. Not sure if this prevents you from any of the other functionality of a split profile, but it works to label the pressure pipes.

I'm going to be honest, i read your post and thought you didn't understand that i needed my profile to be split. I went to try it anyway, and lo and behold, the profile remains split visually even when the box is unchecked! Bizarre behavior for sure. I was hopeful this was a solution, but it results in some weird profile view quirks, most notably the one illustrated below:

Its a lot easier to manually label the pressure pipes than it is to fix that band issue, but thank you for your suggestion!

I thought it might affect something. I'm not using bands the same way and it didn't show me anything quirky like that. Hopefully, someday, Autodesk with fix the issue. Seems like a basic enough functionality users would need.

The bugs and workarounds can be pretty mind-boggling sometimes. Like, the fix for something not showing up on a split profile is to disable the split profile, and yet some aspects of the display of the profile view remains split, even when the function is turned off? But some parts become un-split. At this point I'm just hoping for just one Civil 3D function that regularly works as expected.

I decided long ago to stay away from split profiles. I just place two regular profile views right next to each other instead.
