Pressure Pipe Fitting Invert Label

Creating labels for pressure pipe fittings and selecting Pipe Invert in the Fitting Label Style screen using Civil 3D 2014, it returns the elevation to the center of the pipe not the bottom inside of pipe, does someone know an expression I can plug-in to get the true invert? I've been using Station Elevation Labels on the fittings where the pipe connects as an alternative. Attached is screen shot of the Text Component Editor clearly showing Pipe Invert. Does Autodesk knows what Inverts of pipes mean?

I find your question very strange because when I look through the text component editor for Fitting Labels, "Pipe Invert" doesn't seem to be an option that's available by default. This tells me that you have an expression that was created at some point but even then I don't think you can create an expression that reads the pipe invert. For fittings you can usually only use the insertion point elevation. That's because the number might not always be universal. For example, if you have a 45 degree bend that bends a pipe vertically the elevations at the two connection points will differ. From what I read that seems to be the info you want but I'm not sure that is an expression that can be created for fitting labels.  Please let me know if you are able to create one though.  Best of luck!

Using Civil 3D 2014 when labeling a pressure fitting and creating a new label with Style Composer, if you choose Pipe Invert in the Text Component Editor from the properties window: [cid:image002.png@01D1D760.247821A0]
It gives the invert to the center of the pipe, so I use an expression to minus half the ID of the connected pipe on each side of the fitting to keep the label dynamic:

Hopefully Autodesk fixes the available object properties that may be inserted in the Expression field (Pipe Invert) of the New Component dialogue box that gives the bottom inside of pipe and not the center of pipe.
Thanks Lawrence

Did you get this? I'm trying to label the top of pipe or at the very least the top inside elevation. Everything we design to is top of pipe not center.
